The Molotovs join the TALENTBANQ Roster

Posted on July 27th, 2022 by Natalie Brundle

Meet left to right: Ice (Drums), Issey (Bass) and Mat (Guitar).

All three on vocals.

Together known as The Molotovs.

And in our view the best teenage rock band in the UK.

They’ve been on our radar for some time but after a BLISTERING set on the Caffe Nero Stage at The Cornbury Music Festival we just had to invite them to join.

When performing live they are a tsunami of energy – mixing classic rock tracks with outstanding originals that prove The Molotovs are in it for the long haul.

Left to Right: Ice, Mat, and Issey, fresh off the Caffè Nero Stage at Cornbury Festival.

We’ve already had them out on the road – but we want every one of our followers to get the chance to see them live so we are now pleased to announce the full line up for our 5th Anniversary Celebrations.

October 13th 2022

TALENTBANQ runs the Caffè Nero Stage at Cornbury Music Festival

Posted on July 25th, 2022 by Natalie Brundle

Cornbury 2022
30 artists in 3 wonderful days

It was an absolute pleasure to programme and manage the Caffè Nero stage at this year’s Cornbury Music Festival.
It was described as The Last Hurrah, as sadly it’s the last ever Cornbury.

We certainly went out on a high.

Thanks to the amazing team at Caffè Nero. They do so much to support independent artists and new music.
Thanks to Imagesound for sponsoring the stage, and many thanks to Julian Gonzalez for making it sound so good.

Thanks to every artist who played, the audiences that packed the marquee, our backstage team for making complex look easy and our colleague George Bone for capturing just a few special moments in this video.

Lottie joins the TALENTBANQ Roster

Posted on July 14th, 2022 by Natalie Brundle

When it comes to new music one might expect an introduction to be made by BBC Radio 6 or perhaps one of the BBC Introducing sessions on a local station.

However, during the Lockdown it was Chris Warburton on Radio 5 Live that championed new music being written under such challenging circumstances. And thus we discovered Lottie.

Lottie is an 18 year old singer/songwriter from Pontefract. Her main style influences are Etta James, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse.

She recently released her first EP “Deliquesce” which led to an “In Session Live” for BBC Radio York.

Already noticed by TrustTheDoc, ExileFM, and Integrity Magazine, Lottie has been praised for the soulfulness of someone so young.

She played a stunning set for our New Music Monday at The Ned.

Lottie next appears for us in London on an exceptional three-female lineup at The Green Note on September 1st – alongside Erin Bowman and Amy Taylor.

That is a night not to miss.

TALENTBANQ welcomes Events Manager, Natalie Brundle

Posted on July 5th, 2022 by Natalie Brundle

With the London live music scene rapidly recovering from the trauma of the last two years, it became obvious that we were going to need to bring in an Events Manager.

One post on Linkedin saw a of flood high-calibre applicants. It is our pleasure to have appointed and to welcome Natalie Brundle to the business.

Natalie is a recent Psychology graduate of Durham University, where she also worked on her college’s exec managing all large-scale events.

With experience in the entertainment and hospitality industry, both running live music events and simply attending shows we feel she is a perfect fit for TALENTBANQ.

In week one she is already assisting with The Summer Stage at St Martin-in-the-Fields before heading with the team to The Cornbury Festival.

We can’t promise that every week will be as busy – but we certainly welcome Natalie – and wish her every possible success in her new role.

TALENTBANQ welcomes International Intern Madison Starr

Posted on July 4th, 2022 by Natalie Brundle

Some time ago we received a call from a BUNAC agent asking if we might take a student who has a passion for learning about The Music Industry.

After a video interview with Madison Starr we were delighted that she accepted a position to intern at TALENTBANQ as part of her course at The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). At UCLA Madison is studying Political Science and Music History & Industry.

Since arriving in London just two weeks ago, Madison has helped to run a gig at The Camden Chapel, attended the Elton John concert in Hyde Park, and assisted with our all-day PRIDE party on The Summer Stage at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

She is with us through to August 12th – and this week heads to The Cornbury Festival in The Cotswolds to act as Artist Liaison at The Caffe Nero Stage.

It was interesting to note why the BUNAC agent approached TALENTBANQ. It seems that two of their staff attended one of our Grassroots gigs in Camden, and thought we would be a good match for one of their more unusual placement requests.

We are so pleased to have made the connection.

Welcome Madison – we hope you enjoy your time in London and learn at least a little about the live music scene in our city.
