THE SPIRIT OF CAMDEN

Posted on March 31st, 2021 by James Gamble

During lockdown Director Carlo Polisano contacted us to tell us about his new documentary about London’s grassroots music, The Spirit of Camden.

When he invited TALENTBANQ to become sponsor, it did not take long to agree.

Why? Because it was filmed at the Spiritual Bar – a special place run and curated by Rafael Pesce, where incredible musicians made magic happen nightly.

We don’t have the words to express how special this place and the people are – or the superlatives to describe the talent.

It’s a window on a world so precious that we can only hope will return very soon.

To look through that window, join Director Carlo and two of the film’s featured artists for free on Wed 31st March from 18.45.

Find the Event link here.

Following this screening, the documentary will be free to view on YouTube and Vimeo between March 31st and May 17th.

Check out the extended trailer for this beautiful film below, including a brilliantly honest interview with Amy & The Calamities.
