Covid blew a hole in the live music industry.
It was devastating as venues closed, singing was banned, and commercially social-distancing just did not work.
It’s been a slow and challenging recovery with strong economic headwinds forcing some venues to close and audiences to tighten their belts. Against this backdrop we only had one ambition: to keep music live supporting independent artists along the way.
So it is with considerable joy that we share our landmark payment today.
£1 Million paid to musicians and technicians since the lockdown in 2020.
The recovery continues – our support continues.
And we want to invite everyone to join us as we say 1 million Thank Yous.
