Fresh, rootsy sound that fuses soft-rock energy with soulful Americana.

Having performed at major festivals like Glastonbury and Black Deer Festival, Amy’s rising talent is evident. As a passionate advocate for female expression, she champions safe spaces for women to experiment with music, using the electric guitar as her powerful tool of choice.

As she continues to release new music and perform across the UK, Amy Vix is determined to bring her guitar-based Americana to the masses, championing a new wave of female-led rock and country music. In addition to her solo work, Amy is the lead guitarist for the female country band Savannah Gardner & The Recovering Good Girls.

Amy Vix impressed us with her powerful vocals and incredible songwriting when she performed on the Caffè Nero Imagesound Stage at Black Deer Festival and The Summer Stage at the St Martins in Fields.

We can’t wait to see what she does next!

Stereo Cupid join the TALENTBANQ roster

Posted on August 6th, 2024 by Madara Tumovica

Stereo Cupid‘s bow has been strung with the chords of electric guitar.

Since their emergence late in the summer of 2023 Stereo Cupid have flown through the year, creating waves up and down the country with 3 rocking debut singles, Kid, WYA and Feel Alive. Coupling ripping rock motifs with mature neo-indie about their style.

Alongside the 7 sold out shows in a row, saving Bush Hall, Shepherds Bush, from closure with a roaring set to over 600 people and making a Manchester debut at a sold out headline show StereoCupid were quickly scouted by huge global names.

Coupling ripping rock motifs with mature neo-indie about their style.

Manchester United were the first to come knocking, championing StereoCupid as “The Future of Manchester” in their ‘give them their flowers’ campaign with legendary rock n roll artist Peter Saville. The world famous club then appropriated ‘KID’ as befitting of the Derby Day Montage.

StereoCupid then set their sights on the movie soundtrack for Vanity. Writing 3 tracks for short film, that went on to be nominated for Best Short Film and Best LGBTQ film at Mexico International Film Festival, Budapest Film Awards, and even winning the award at the Enjoy Film Festival.

In their latest project of passion StereoCupid recently released their new single Stargazing on the 23rd of June. Leaning into a vintage playboy style succumbing to the pretty boy fame these boys have gained, this is a release not to be missed. Grinding and fierce rock ballads, coupled with a raw sex appeal and ambition Stargazing is destined to light up stages across the UK this summer, and StereoCupid seem an unstoppable force, they are not to be ignored.

Stereo Cupid wowed us with their incredible headline performance at their latest show at Fiddler’s Elbow. In this show, they donated a portion of their proceeds to Great Ormond Street Hospital donating a total of £250 to the charity.

Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best join the TALENTBANQ roster

Posted on August 6th, 2024 by Natalie Brundle

Dom Glynn is a singer-songwriter and fingerpicker extraordinaire from Birmingham, UK, who moved to London in 2016. Through persistent gigging as a solo act, he has developed a reputation as an impressive live performer. He combines a style of songwriting influenced by Bob Dylan and Hank Williams Sr., with a guitar style inspired by Mississippi John Hurt and Doc Watson.

‘British Honky-Tonk’ – At The Barrier, 2024

Since moving to London, Dom has worked with the independent record label, Spiritual Records, to release an E.P. (Waster’s Blues, 2019), several singles (Never Free at All, 2019; Ain’t No Cowboys, Paper Crown & Wound Within, 2020; Every Spare Penny; 2023) and an album (The Devil Knows, 2023).

2023 was Glynn’s biggest year yet, with the album release; supports for UK Blues legends, Jack Broadbent at The Jazz Café and Ian Siegal at Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues Bar; and the formation of Dom Glynn and His Sunday Best.

The band has been described as ‘British Honky-Tonk’ (At The Barrier, 2024). Dom is joined by the thrilling fiddle virtuoso Dr. Duncan Menzies (Copper Viper), the infectiously joyful drumming of Carmen Ruiz Vicente and the airtight bass-playing and delightful harmonies of Jack Trouble. Together they make a sound that excites and inspires; music that makes the people drink and dance. They can regularly be found live at their monthly residencies in The Dukes of Highgate, Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues Bar, Sir Richard Steele and Spiritual Bar.

So far in 2024, they have released the two singles, ‘Time Would Slow Down’ and ‘Singing to Survive’, and have performed at Ramblin’ Roots, Black Deer and Maverick Festivals.

Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best have impressed us at TALENTBANQ with performances at Black Deer Festival and the Fiddler’s Elbow, as well as with his solo act at numerous function gigs. We cannot wait to see what him and his band do in the future and are elated to have them on our roster.
