Kiah Lindsay joins the TALENTBANQ Roster

Posted on February 27th, 2024 by Natalie Brundle

20-year-old singer-songwriter, musician and composer Kiah Lindsay is a fresh artist from rural West Wales. Her unique fusion of Indie Folk/Country and Soul highlights a ‘New Age Wales’: a breathtaking and intoxicating landscape full of rich heritage and culture.

Kiah discusses relationships, homesickness and coming of age.

Kiah’s first independent release came in 2022 with a “Holly Humberstone” inspired pop track titled, ‘KEEP BURNING’. Soon after, she was signed by Cwtch Records and began working on her very first, full length LP.

Kiah’s 2023 debut album ‘Meet Me’ is an enchanting and honest story of self discovery in which Kiah discusses relationships, homesickness and coming of age.

Kiah takes inspiration on this record from artists such as Ben Howard, John Mayer, Lizzy McAlpine and Phoebe Bridgers, along with her lifelong passion of ‘Theatre’. She encapsulates us in her storytelling much like the written works of Stephen Sondheim.

Continuing to write for pleasure and future projects, Kiah is taking a step into soul, with inspiration from Etta James and Carole King.

Kiah has already seen some career highlights, including her debut London gig at the Green Note supporting Chris Tavener, as well as supporting Dan Owen at his SOLD OUT show, both presented by TALENTBANQ.

Keep an eye on Kiah Lindsay, she’s set for great things…

Posted on February 14th, 2024 by Natalie Brundle

We are ushering in International Women’s Day with a lineup featuring two extraordinary female leads at The Fiddlers Elbow.

On March 7th, in the heart of Camden, The Lady Petrol Band will open for Rachel Croft at the Fiddler’s Elbow.

Lady Petrol band is fronted on vocals and rhythm guitar by Ohio born, London resident songbird Meg Cavanaugh. She has worked with many musicians to showcase her original material.  Her most recent release is Two, a jazz collaboration with veteran multi-keys player William South, who will be accompanying her on the night.

Lady Petrol are that bar band you thought had gone out of business.

Rounding out the band are Israeli beats wizard Juba Wexler on drums, and noted London Americana guitarist Graham Farnworth adding smoking hot licks.

Headlining the night is the incomparable Rachel Croft.

Hailing from London, Rachel’s thunderous and cinematic works have been synced on the BBC and Netflix, premiered in leading global outlets such as CMT, BBC Radio and Fresh On The Net, and featured on the Caffè Nero playlist rotation at 600+ UK locations.
