Bird
7.30pm
Bird is a multi-instrumentalist, alternative pop singer-songwriter who at six years old first picked up a cello. She joined the local youth orchestra soon after which she continued to play in throughout her childhood but the tutors generally thought her too undisciplined as she swayed in her chair… So she found an outlet for her passion at a place with seemingly no limits to self-expression, behind the drums in an all girl punk band…
In 2016 she co-wrote and featured on the title track and second single for Belgium band Hooverphonic. The album went straight in the charts at #1 and her single went top 10 shortly after. The album is currently certified gold. She also co-wrote and produced on platinum certified artist Aura’s hit album and has worked with numerous international artists including Vanessa Mae, Kenneth Bager, Emeli Sande, Just Jack and Café del Mar.
Laura Oakes
8.15pm
Laura Oakes is a British Country Music Artist from Liverpool, England. Coming from a huge Liverpudlian family, where everyone sings or play an instrument, it was only a matter of time before Laura caught the music bug.
‘There is nothing like performing live,’ says Laura, who has spent the last year playing shows including supporting fellow country artists The Shires, Ward Thomas and Raintown. She has also just released her self-titled EP and received nominations in the Song Of The Year category for Snakes & Ladders and Female Vocalist of the Year from The British Country Music Awards and UKCountryRadio.com.
Mark Sullivan
9pm
Mark Sullivan is an award singer songwriter & guitarist from Stevenage. At 15 years old, Mark formed his first band ‘Gekko’ which became one of the most accomplished local bands in his home town of Hertfordshire. After embarking on his solo career, Mark has played in many iconic venues including The Troubadour, Elland Road Stadium, Ricoh Arena, Bolton Arena and Wembley Arena.
After recording an EP in America with grammy nominated producer Steve Greenwell, featuring Lenny Kravitz’s bassist Jack Daley on bass, Mark was invited to London TV to talk about his music and blossoming career. This led to a slot at the first Major festival, Isle Of Wight 2016, and has since played The Big Feastival (20,000) and Camper Calling (6,000), Cornbury Festival, Meraki Festival, Camper Calling, Herts Pride Festival and more!
SEE YOU THERE!
