With two lead vocalists in the shape of Keith Porter and Jamie Cook, harmonies were always going to be front and centre in The Jackson Line, who deliver a modern take on classic Country and Americana. Storytelling, harmonies and guitars are at the heart of what they do.
In the summer of 2022, the band were invited to Winnipeg, Canada to work with Juno Award-winning producer Murray Pulver on their second collection of songs.
Since the release of their debut EP, Don’t Wait, the band have amassed over 300,000 streams across all platforms, and had their music featured, played or playlisted on multiple radio stations including Countryline, Absolute Country, BBC Introducing and editorial playlists such as Apple’s ‘Countrywide’ and Spotify’s ‘New Music Nashville’.
In 2021, the band launched the Radio City Sessions in Chelmsford, Essex, a ‘listening room’ songwriters round in the birthplace of radio. The sell-out nights have welcomed artists from across the U.K. country scene, such as Two Ways Home, Gasoline and Matches and Gary Quinn, rising stars like Roisin O’Hagan and Emilia Quinn, and US artists such as Erin Bowman, Jeremy McComb and Alyssa Bonagura.
As well as launching their own nights, the band have appeared at the Tennessee Fields Festival, Buckle & Boots, the Black Deer Festival, co-headlined a sold-out London show, and performed at the prestigious Nashville Meets London event at Pizza Express Holborn.
