Luke Tanner | Live at Joe Allen
Joe Allen is celebrating its newest addition, Joe’s Bar, with a series of performances by new and emerging artists from independent labels. The ‘Joe’s Bar Live’ performances will occur over the autumn months, on weeknights beginning at 8pm. Joe Allen is already a staple for pre-theatre meals and drinks, and with added entertainment on weeknights, Joe’s Bar will become the ultimate late-night destination.
Since opening in Covent Garden in 1977, Joe Allen Restaurant has become a theatreland institution. Last year it expanded with the addition of Joe’s Bar, an authentically styled New York tavern that complements the restaurant’s American charm. Joe’s Bar evokes the discreet neighbourhood bars of downtown New York with its leather banquettes, rich walnut counter, and exposed brick wall. Wooden benches line the bar, and the wood-panelled walls are adorned with memorabilia.
The 14th of December brings Luke Tanner to Joe’s Bar Live. Italian born Luke Tanner is an up and coming singer/songwriter based in East London. His rough vocal mixes classic rock influences like Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin with the feeling of blues-inspired melodies such as Muddy Water, Howlin’ Wolf.
All performances will begin at 8 p.m. at Joe’s Bar, part of Joe Allen restaurant, just off Burleigh Street in Covent Garden.
