Angelica is a Greco-American singer, songwriter, and pop artist based in London. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, she draws inspiration from epic narratives. Story is at the heart of her songwriting, and her piano-driven hooks explore themes like love, loss, and myth.
Her distinctive brand of dream pop interweaves an ethereal soundscape with a coming of age sensibility, tinged with sparkling nostalgia, cheeky romanticism, and striking intimacy. Her work is characterized by a signature balance, towing the line between transportive fantasy and unmasked detail, as she presents the bittersweetness of growing up through a bright, cinematic lens.
Formerly a student at Columbia University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge, Angelicawas awarded BMI’s Nashville Songwriting Scholarship for her song “Feeling of Almost”, which was selected by Grammy-winning artist Kacey Musgraves and the CEO of Universal Publishing Group Nashville Troy Tomlinson.
Angelica’s anticipated debut is set to release in 2023.
