Hailing from Preston in North West England, Madeline credits the grey skies of suburbia as the catalyst for her desire to create.
Her lyrics are haunted by a cynical giddy self-awareness - this itself the vessel for her delicately strung explorations of religion, womanhood and modern-world-living.
