Described as a band that “is totally impossible not to enjoy”, Funky Pineapples have had audiences of all ages dancing their socks off across a large range of venues and events from London's Ronnie Scotts to Wilderness Festival and beyond.
Inspired by the New Orleans brass band tradition, the London based brass band also incorporate influences from other cultures and styles such as Swing, Latin, Caribbean, Gospel & Blues. This is all tied together with top class musicianship and a real sense of character and fun, to give Funky Pineapples a unique sound and a unique experience for their audiences.
Funky Pineapples also play their own arrangements of popular songs, classic New Orleans repertoire, interpretations of music from other genres as well as songs composed by members of the band.
