About Abi Farrell

Abi Farrell is an independent soul artist from Oxford & based in London who was raised on a female-driven musical intake including Aretha Franklin, Eva Cassidy, Carole King & Chaka Khan. Abi has blended soulful vocals and soaring melodies since she was 8 years old, when she found her older brother’s copy of Christina Aguilera’s seminal album ‘Stripped’ and quickly found her own voice.

Described by South London live music experience 'Soul Stripped Sessions' as 'a powerhouse and then some', Abi and her band have performed on many stages such as London's Camden Assembly, The Spice of Life, The Bedford in Balham and Notting Hill Arts Club. Her debut EP, 'The Only Way I Learn', was released on 8 November 2019 and spreads the message that daring to pursue what we love is the only way we will ever truly learn and grow.

To date it has amassed over 50,000 Spotify streams. Following its' release, Abi was named Richer Unsigned's Artist of the Week, in addition to receiving radio coverage and ongoing support from BBC Introducing in Oxford.
