Jocee is a soul singer and songwriter who endeavours to continue spreading life's vibrant melody to the soul searchers of the world. Jocee’s music is laced with bass and sax, paying homage to her love of vintage Motown and Soul.
Since 2012 she’s self funded 4 records (3 EPs and 1 album), recorded with her 8 piece band of loyal & awesomely talented musicians. She has also independently sold out headline shows London’s top Soul music venues, including Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, The Hideaway, Crazy Cogs (Brasserie Zedel), and the Lexington.
A London Soul scene staple and strong advocate of Live is best, it’s hard not to become immersed in the music as Jocee thrives with her infectious energy.
A talented lyricist, with her unique tones and catchy toe tapping melodies, Jocee’s tale-telling honesty leaves audiences young and old feeling like they have met their kindred spirit.
