Lead Singer Fudge is a visionary. A creative force of pure energy, ambition and with a sound to match. He is pushing boundaries, elevating his musical ambitions and bringing people together.
“To me, Funk isnʼt a genre, itʼs an attitude, a state of mind.” says lead singer Fudge.
Fudge has most recently supported THE JACKSONʼS to a sell-out 20,000 crowd at The Livewire Festival. He has performed London and across Europe including Barfly, Omeara, Cargo, the legendary Jazz Café, the Clapham Grand, Le Bus Palladium, the O2 Academy, the Borderline and Kensington Roof Gardens.
A fusion of funk, electro, soul, dubstep, hip-hop, rock and reggae, this is a sound the collective have named ʻFuturistic Funkʼ. With less focus on the genre and more on the attitude funk has to bring to the world.
As an artist he has turned down approaches from producers of TVʼs X-Factor and The Voice saying, “these shows are a fantastic platform for singers rather than artists”.
His music and lyrics are as much about his vision to ʻWake the Funk Upʼ as bringing a fresh approach to the music industry.
Joyful, heartfelt, raw and passionate, the lyrics and voice of Fudge are unique in getting even the most cynical up on the dance floor. With a background in dance training, Fudge lives for performing and works with live musicianʼs who bring brilliance every time they play.
“The best live act we have ever had here.” - Kensington Roof Gardens, management team
