A £100,000 boost for Independent Musicians

In less than 18 months since launch, live music agency TALENTBANQ has paid independent musicians over £100,000.

Founder Ray Jones commented “Every pound paid to independent artists is like £5 to others. It literally helps pay the rent, put food on the table and helps artists to pursue a career in music. Music is a tough and challenging life-choice – and the whole industry is going through seismic economic shifts. By rewarding live performance we are seeking to support not only individual artists, but the whole cultural economy and musical heritage of our amazing city”

Katie Kittermaster, just 18,  took a break from her A Levels to celebrate this moment. Once finished her exams, she will be heading straight into Metropolis recording studio. She will release her debut EP at the end of the summer and heads out on a major tour supporting BoyzLife during September.

Notes :

TALENTBANQ was founded in October 2017 by Lord Mervyn Davies, Pablo Ettinger and Ray Jones. The business is based at Tileyard – London’s foremost music business hub.

The business is a live-agency representing a hand-picked selection of exceptional talent – all chosen for outstanding live performance.

TALENTBANQ offers full event management services for those seeking live music – and recently opened their own small venue in Camden.
